Read the video descriptions

Heart anatomy: a moving four-chamber reference is followed by a different long-axis view. The learner taps the left ventricle and receives written feedback.

Lung examples: one example shows an A-line identification activity. A different example shows a B-line target and accepted feedback. These are separate reference examples, not a same-patient comparison or a diagnosis.

eFAST examples: a normal RUQ reference appears first; a different example follows with free-fluid feedback. The edit joins separate module excerpts, not a before-and-after patient study.

SonoMatch: three separate recorded rounds move from a brief text-to-text match to a still-image match and then a moving-clip match. Each excerpt shows an accepted pair; this is a highlight reel, not a complete game.

Silent, edited recordings from TestFlight 1.3.4 (106), with access enabled for testing. Ultrasound imagery and app feedback are unchanged. These activities demonstrate image interpretation practice, not hands-on scanning skill.

Who it is for

Built for people learning POCUS.

Students, clinicians, and educators can use the same case-based loop before returning to supervised hands-on scanning.

Clinician-led from the start Adam Snider, AGACNP-BC Founder · Cardiovascular nurse practitioner · POCUS educator Why Ultrasound Fanatic exists

The essentials

Before you start.

Do I need an ultrasound machine or probe?

No. The app is designed for guided learning and case rehearsal on your phone. It complements—but does not replace—supervised hands-on scanning.

Which protocols are included?

The current learning areas include eFAST, FoCUS, lung ultrasound, probe-positioning concepts, image interpretation, and clinical case practice.

Is the app free?

POCUS Simulator is free to download on iPhone and Android, with optional in-app purchases.

Does it replace supervised training?

No. It is an educational rehearsal tool. Supervised scanning, local credentialing, clinical judgment, and patient-specific assessment remain essential.

Take the case with you

Ready to practice POCUS anywhere?

Take guided cases, image interpretation, and fast review wherever you train.
