Application requirements for in-person ultrasound fellowship programs below include graduation from a 4-year accredited emergency medicine (adult or pediatric) training program, while others include new graduates from internal medicine and family medicine residencies, seasoned hospitalists, and subspeciality trained clinicians from nephrology and pulmonology/critical care. Additionally, a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship program is available. Program applicants need to apply through the Society of Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship. Highlights: The Fellowship provides trainees with a comprehensive and structured program across different sites in San Francisco, including a tertiary referral campus at Parnassus Heights, a women's imaging and cancer center at Mission Bay, the Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), a Level 1 Trauma Center, and several outpatient facilities. The fellowship is geared to be a high-volume well-rounded program encompassing all modern aspects of abdominal imaging to prepare fellows to successfully operate in any setting, whether in academics or private practice.
